Peggy Fearne, Bags Galore
Our guest speaker on Saturday was Peggy Fearne who not only brought in some of the bags she has made, but also gave us a brief history of the reticule and showed slides of some of the magnificent bags in the Sheffield Museums collection.
Peggy also constructs 3D textiles based on origami folding which can be viewed here and is a member of the "Alive and Stitching" Textile Group. An enjoyable afternoon.

thank you for the photos etc on the speaker last saturday, such a shame to have missed it it looks very interesting and there are some great bags.
